I could tell you a lot of stories from the past couple months, but it’s Sunday night and I’m utterly exhausted after a three-day emotional binge. I’m not quite sure what that means but I know I like the sound of it. I’ll revert to a list of things both interesting and informational. You don’t have to pretend to be interested.
- I went canoeing on the Kalamazoo on Friday. The water was wide. And shallow. Except for where we found the continental shelf.
- There is a larger spider on my ceiling right now and, despite my height, I am far too cozy to reach it.
- A 2 year-old I know loves “fiders.” He would love that thing on my ceiling right now.
- I lit a kitchen towel on fire last night at a friend’s house. Luckily, the situation was neither dangerous nor another exercise in what-not-to-do-to-a-grease-fire.
- I’m going to New Orleans soon, which is good because it’s been a long time.
- There is too much construction going on in the state of Michigan right now.
- I’m gonna do it. I’m gonna kill that spider.
- The Mountain Goats.
- The End.

I saw you waiting by the roadside
You didn’t know that I was watching
Now you know
Let it all go
AOT,
Alex
