This probably isn’t the most opportune time to be blogging, but dear audience across the world–Rome, Paris, London, New York, New Orleans–wherever you are! I think you’ll be tickled to hear that we had a great night tonight at the Albion bowling alley, bowling a couple half-drunk rounds and then getting sufficiently buzzed at the small bar with the even smaller dancefloor. The walk home across campus was long, but we all arrived safely and I’ve thrown in the second season of Weeds, watching Mary Louise Parker’s character smoke for the first time. I’m checking on my roommate every five minutes. She danced her ass off all night yet still managed to bowl spares and strikes, sing great karaoke, and make friends with everyone at the alley. Needless to say, she’s asleep in the bathroom right now and I am force-feeding her crackers and Propel, hoping that the electrolytes will bring her back to earth enough to let her rest in her bed eventually tonight.
Anyway. Overshare, probably. But this one goes out to you, all my best dear friends and sisters around the world. Next year’s going to be a shit show, and we’ll have a slide from our first-floor balcony and a trampoline in our spacious backyard. I adore you all and can’t wait to see you, and I hope it’s before our August move-in date!
